I treasure the relationships that grow between my patients and myself. Each person comes to me with very specific clinical needs and personal concerns. By working collaboratively, we’re able to decide on a care approach that’s appropriate for that person, and build a trusting bond. I want patients to understand I have their best interests at heart and am here to help them achieve their healthiest, most beautiful smiles.
As a dentist, I love that I can improve people’s lives. Moving a person out of pain, restoring the ability to properly and comfortably chew, and giving someone a smile they love, all these change a person’s life for the better.
I’m particularly excited about improving people’s smiles. How we feel about ourselves, how the world sees us, and how we share our personality all comes down to one’s smile. Having straight, healthy teeth can increase a person’s self-esteem and grow their confidence. I love the moment, when a patient and I are finished with a smile makeover, and I show them their before and after photos: those genuine, joy-filled smiles are a highlight of my work!
Working with Dr. Delcea and our remarkable dental team is a wonderful experience. Our office is highly professional yet also warm and friendly. I love hearing our team talking and laughing with patients, sharing in the ups and downs in their lives. Each of us believes in caring for the person, not just fixing their dental issues, and in taking care of people as family.
Education and Continuing Education
My Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) was awarded by the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. That education provided an exceptional foundational knowledge and understanding of the science and art of dentistry.
However, this is a constantly evolving profession and my patients trust me to provide them with leading-edge care options. Each year I complete many hours of continuing dental education, learning about and evaluating advancements in technology, dental materials, and technologies.
I’ve extensively studied approaches to cosmetic dentistry, with an emphasis on clinically and aesthetic results: I want my patients to enjoy a lifetime of beautiful smiles!
Beyond the Practice
I currently live in Chestnut Hill. When not caring for patients, I love spending time with my family, along with cooking and losing myself in a book.
