I love working in a family dental practice, as it means I care for people of all ages from different walks of life. It’s an honor to get to know and help our patients achieve their best oral health! I offer gentle and thorough dental cleanings, along with fluoride treatments, and spend a lot of my time teaching patients about their oral health. An empowered, informed patient is able to make the healthiest decisions for their smile!
My husband Rick and I have been married for more than 40 years. We are blessed with two beautiful children, Kaitlin and Jonathan. I’m actively involved with the Mansfield Elks and am the treasurer of the Mansfield Emblem Club. My passion is the New England Patriots: I’m a 30-year season ticket holder and a true football lover!
Certified Dental Assistant
I really enjoy talking and getting to know our patients. We serve an amazing community and I find the more I listen, the more I learn! It’s important patients know our doctors offer gentle care and they don’t need to feel anxious about visits. I provide chairside assistance, helping the doctor during procedures. At the same time, I’m talking with our patient about what we’re doing and checking that they’re comfortable.
I’m happily married and have two children, two grandsons, and three cats. When not in the office, I enjoy traveling, reading, beach-combing for sea glass and shells, and time with family and friends. I also volunteer with a local non-profit farm, taking care of the animals, and love the peace and serenity it provides for me.
Receptionist and Dental Assistant
I work hard to ensure each patient feels welcome, safe, and at home during their visits. Our doctors and team members are committed to providing gentle, personalized care, and even nervous patients soon learn there’s nothing to worry about! I greet patients, check them in, and assist with their paperwork as well as schedule and confirm visits. I also work in our clinic area, sitting chairside during procedures as I support the doctor and our patient.
My husband Nick and I were married in 2009. We have two children, Dylan and Kylee, and our family loves to vacation at Frye Island in Maine.
I look forward to meeting new people and building friendships with them just as much as I look forward to visits from established patients. Our conversations both create a bond and give me insight into how I can help each person achieve optimal oral and overall health. While cleaning teeth and providing preventive dental care, I talk with my patient about their mouth. Together, we find the home hygiene routine and products to keep their smile healthy and beautiful.
I’m a Public Health Dental Hygienist with a portable dental office. I visit those who have difficulty accessing dental care, including people who are disabled, homebound, and elderly, providing preventive care. In my free time, I enjoy escaping into nature, especially when I’m backpacking, skiing, and taking long-distance bike tours.
I enjoy getting to know new patients and strengthening relationships with those who are already part of our practice. It’s professionally and personally rewarding to help people achieve their oral health and smile goals. I review patients’ medical history, check their mouth for dental issues, take X-rays, and provide cleanings and soft tissue management. With each patient, I concentrate on teaching them how to care for their smile and encourage them to make positive changes.
I’m recently widowed, but being a hygienist has brought me many new friends. I have two adult daughters and an adult son, as well as a grandson. I also have a German Shepard. I enjoy most sports and have been on a women’s bowling league for 25 years! I spend my free time at the Norwood Senior Center with my mom.
I love working in such a caring, friendly, and professional office, with amazing doctors and an incredible team. Our patients are considered to be part of our family and we care for them the way we’d want our own family members to be treated. I research and coordinate insurance benefits for our patients. I also create financial arrangements with patients, handle our accounts receivables and billing, and take care of processing insurance claims.
When not working, I love spending time with family and friends. I enjoy dining out and trying new places. During nice weather I like spending time in the yard.
I enjoy working with and becoming friends with our patients. Each person brings their own stories and experiences to our office and I love hearing about their lives. As a dental assistant, I seat patients, prepare them to see the doctor, and explain what we’ll be doing. I stay by our patient’s side, making sure they’re comfortable while assisting the doctor during the procedure. When we’re finished, I answer questions and offer home care instructions.
I’m married, have two daughters who live out-of-state, and a goofy Golden Retriever named Kilroy. When not working, I love to sew, smock, and quilt.
